About Raymond Savignac & the Marché Paul Bert poster

French graphic designer Raymond Savignac was one of France’s greatest poster designers. His recognisable works are characterised by an exuberant use of colour, surreal scenes in a typical French style, always with a sense of humour.

The Marché Paul Bert is Paris’ most famous flee market and is the largest antique market in the world with over 350 antique dealers. The Marché Paul Bert’s dealers sell the most beautiful pieces of furniture, jewelery, design and vintage clothing from Antiquity to the ‘90s and is a must see on a visit to Paris. Naturally it’s my favourite spot in Paris for antique shopping!
